“Colombia in the exercise of its sovereignty, taking into account circumstances of interest to the Colombian State or of reciprocity, can establish the countries whose nationals require or do not require a visa to enter the national territory,” said document would read.

“Passport holders from the following states or territories do not require a visa to carry out direct airport transit at any of the international airports of the national territory with destination to a third State; and may remain in the airport transit zone for up to 24 hours. The arrival and permanence in international transit zones is not considered as an entry into the national territory in migratory terms.”, explains the document shared by the aforementioned medium.
In the list of 42 countries is Afghanistan, Angola, Algeria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Gambia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, Yemen , Haiti, Iraq, Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, and Sudan.
