Without any major surprises, Néstor Lorenzo, the coach of the Colombian National Team, put together the final list for the Copa América, in which they will debut on June 24 against Paraguay, in Houston. The roster was announced one day before the last warm-up friendly, against Bolivia.
According to the criteria of
“We have to give the list before the game, so I already spoke with the players who are not going to be on the final Copa América list, thanking them for what they did, their effort and what they said and responded was good. They were grateful for having been there. They two are Sebastián Gómez and Yerson Mosquera. It’s a shame, but they are two exceptional players with a great future,” explained Lorenzo.
These are, man by man, the 26 players who will defend the honor of Colombia. Ten of them are absolute debutants in the tournament, including two experienced players, Johan Mojica and Juan Fernando Quintero.
