Colombia national team: confirmed the schedules of their last two games

The last hope of the Colombian National Team to go to the World Cup in Qatar already has a date and time.

The Colombian Football Federation (FCF) confirmed this Sunday the schedules of the last matches of the qualifying round for the World Cup.

On the penultimate date, Reinaldo Rueda’s team will face Bolivia, on March 24, around 6:30 pm, in Barranquilla.

Hoping to get the three points in that first outing, the Colombian National Team will travel to Venezuela to face the team now led by Argentine coach José Néstor Pekerman. The duel against the neighboring country will be on March 27, at 6:30 p.m.

Before the first initial whistle sounds, the tricolor will start in seventh position in the table, with 17 points. To date, four points separate it from fifth place, which gives quota for playoffs, and Peru occupies.

The accounts for Colombia to have options to go to Qatar start with the six points they should get in their games. Then, since it no longer depends on itself (it must wait for other results), the idea is that neither Peru nor Chile (now direct rivals) add up in their respective duels.

All games will be at the same time

The decision made by Fifa, on the outcome of the tie, is that all games are played at the same time. Thus, the entity that governs world football seeks to guarantee the transparency and fair play of the teams.
