lThe Colombian Senior National Team completed its preparation schedule for the Copa América this Friday, in which the team led by Néstor Lorenzo will try to win its second continental title, after the one achieved in 2001.
The national team has been undefeated for 21 games, 18 of them under the command of the Argentine coach, who arrived in mid-2022 to replace Reinaldo Rueda, who could not qualify for the World Cup in Qatar.
Before starting the tournament, the National Team had already confirmed a friendly game against the United States, on June 8, at 4:30 pm, Colombia time, at FedEx Field in Landover (Maryland). The achievement of a second rival was pending, after Canada's refusal.
Bolivia, Colombia's last rival before the Copa América
This Friday, the Colombian Football Federation confirmed the new rival. This is Bolivia, which they will face on June 15 at 5 pm local time (4 pm Colombia) at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut.
Colombia has not played against Bolivia since March 24, 2022, in the qualifying round for Qatar 2022. That day they won 3-0, with goals from Luis Díaz, Miguel Ángel Borja and Mateus Uribe. It was the first game for the current undefeated team.
The Bolivians occupy the penultimate place in the qualifying table, with just three points in six appearances. Colombia is third with 12.
