During the “Cobra Kai” panel at the Joke Festival, where the cast and producers of the popular series were present, Netflix made fans live one of the most anticipated moments: the presentation of the trailer for the fifth season.
With Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) teaming up to take down Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith), fans are hoping not only to see this matchup, but also to learn what happened to John Kreese (Martin Kove) after he was arrested.

Following the results of the All Valley Tournament, Silver “is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his style of karate the only one in town,” the official Netflix description reads. “With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence putting aside karate to focus on finding Miguel, Daniel will call on an old friend for help: Chozen Toguchi, his former adversary,” it adds.
“Cobra Kai” is the sequel series to the late 1980s film franchise starring Macchio and the late Pat Morita, “The Karate Kid.”
