Clotxa is a primitive snack, but not a fossil at all. Although it comes from the agricultural past of Terres de l’Ebre, where the peasants took it to the fields to endure the hard days in the crops, not only is it still preparing in this area of Tarragona, but it has also been rediscovered by people who have not touched a hoe in his life. The reason is simple: its combination of flavors works just as well today as it did 100 years ago, for peasants and urbanites alike.
