“This is the Spain we want and for which it is worth fighting, not the one that defends lies and hatred.”
Defense that adds to the one made this Wednesday by the spokesperson for the regional Executive, who after describing as “shams” the attacks launched by Vox not only against the immigrant population, but also against those who focus on caring for the most vulnerable people. vulnerable.
Messages such as those broadcast by the president of the Vox parliamentary group in the Cortes, David Moreno, who claimed not to have seen the Red Cross either in Letur or Mira, nor in the Valencian towns affected by DANA, thus casting doubt on which It has been his role during these weeks.
An approach made by the vice mayor of Talavera de la Reina, which has led the PSOE of this city to ask the mayor, and Vox government partner, José Julián Gregorio, to reconsider whether after this attack on the Red Cross Moreno should continue in the charge.
And for the Talavera socialists, Moreno’s statements are “regrettable” and with them the only thing he intends is “generate noise and hatred”putting the “sight” on the associations, thus trying to “criminalize those who help”, which “is not being supportive.”
This has been pointed out by the spokesperson for the Municipal Socialist Group in the Talavera City Council, Luis Enrique Hidalgo, who has also criticized the racist speech of the Vox leader against migrants after ensuring that they receive housing solutions and all kinds of aid as soon as they arrive at the Spanish coasts, while those affected by DANA remain without them two weeks after the tragedy.
Statements by the Talavera vice-mayor from which his government partner, José Julián Gregorio, has wanted to distance himself, who recalled that during the last plenary session the PP voted against Vox’s proposals in relation to immigration.
For their part, in the regional Parliament, the socialist group also wanted to make clear their position regarding the role of the Red Cross. Deputy Pablo Camacho did it from the speakers’ gallery, showing a sign on which one could read a “thank you”addressed to the organization, has conveyed its recognition of the “excellent work” they carry out at all times.
Loud and clear Thank you @CruzRojaEsp!
In the face of the absolutely regrettable, miserable and shameful attacks of the extreme right on his work at DANA.
