The Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources dismisses the appeals of two companies against the resolution of the public tender
The Central Administrative Court of Contractual Resources has dismissed the appeals that two companies that opted for the competition for the management of the autonomous television 7TV presented against the proposal of the Ministry of Finance to award the contract to the company CBM Servicios Audiovisuales, a subsidiary of Grupo Secuoya , being the one with the highest score.
In this way, the precautionary suspension of the procedure is lifted and the Community has free rein to sign the contract with CBM, which would have a period of two months for the start of emissions. The Secuoya affiliate has been in charge of 7TV for seven years, the last two through an emergency contract signed with the regional government until the new award is resolved.
The Court has rejected the appeals presented both by Audiovisuales TCero, which came in second place in the public tender, and by the joint venture formed by Bainet, NRD, Eurocomunicación and Intercom, which did not pass the cut of the committee of experts. Both companies now have the possibility of appealing to the contentious-administrative courts, within a period of two months.
Regional government sources stressed that the resolutions show that “from the first moment everything has been done in accordance with the law, with all the necessary technical reports and endorsed by the official staff of the Autonomous Community.”
