The presidential candidate of the Let’s Keep Making History coalition, Claudia Sheinbaumbrought together citizens of Iztapalapa to make an emphatic call to defend the Fourth Transformation project and avoid the purchase of votes by opposition parties.
“Those on the other side do not believe that they are crossing their arms, they already told me that here in Iztapalapa he wants to buy voteswho come to offer money, groceries, cards and What do we say?: You can take what they give, but at the time of the election, Take your vote!”, he pointed out.
The former head of Government of Mexico City urged the citizens of Iztapalapa not to trust themselves and to demonstrate the strength of the 4T movement in the elections on June 2.
The presidential candidate detailed some of the actions that will continue to transform Mexico City, such as investment in drinking water, improving urban mobility and strengthening security.
In addition, he presented proposals at the national level, such as a pension for women aged 60 to 64 and a scholarship for boys and girls from preschool to high school.
Brugada and the continuity of the 4T
For her part, Clara Brugada, candidate for the Head of Government of Morena and its allies, joined Sheinbaum’s call to defend the legacy of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and assured that, with Sheinbaum as the next president, the continuity of the 4T.
Meanwhile, the candidate for Mayor of Iztapalapa, Aleida Alavez Ruiz, highlighted the importance of the 4T movement to empower women and consolidate the transformation of the country. She stressed that only from the left can women be able to occupy the spaces that were denied to them for years.
The event was attended by political leaders, such as Mario Delgado Carrillo, president of the National Executive Committee of Morena, and Citlalli Hernández, general secretary of the party’s National Executive Committee, among other representatives of the coalition.
