The Secretary of Education of Guerrero released a statement through their official platforms where they confirmed the suspension of classes of public and private schools of Preschool and Primary Education this Thursday April 25, 2025.
Through the statement, the Secretary of Education Guerrero reported that the suspension is due to air pollution caused by forest fires.
Under the recommendations issued by the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources in the State, preschool and primary school students will not have classes today for the forest firesin both shifts of the day.
The forest fires have been registered in the “El Veladero” National Parkwhich so far have been three ravenous fires that caused the atmospheric pollution in Acapulco and Chilpancingo.
The Coordination of Civil Protection and Firefighters of Acapulco continues with the work to put out the forest fires, with the help of the National Commission of Protected Natural Areas.
