Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- Prior to the Women’s Day framework, the president of the DIF System Sinaloa, Eneyda Rocha Ruiz, went to the city of Los Mochis to meeting free and transformative womenorganized by the citizen collective.
Acknowledging women and achievements that have been achieved throughout life, as well as fighting for equality between men and women.
For her part, Eneyda Rocha Ruiz highlighted significant moments in the struggle to exercise the vote, being in the year 1922 when women voted for the first time in Yucatan.
While in 1953 Mexican women could vote and be voted for in our country, in 1955 they participated in the elections.
