At the end of October 2021, Krasnodar was named the absolute leader among large Russian cities in terms of the growth rate of prices for secondary housing, reports RIA News citing research by SRG Consulting Group.
According to analysts, over the month, the average cost of supply in the secondary housing market in Krasnodar increased by 15.6 percent, over the year – by almost 50 percent. On average, a square meter in the city costs 82.6 thousand rubles.
Yekaterinburg took the second place in the ranking of cities with reactive housing prices – there the “square” in October added 5.3 percent in price (up to 88.4 thousand rubles). The top three also included Nizhny Novgorod, where the cost of housing increased by five percent. Kazan is in fourth place (plus 4.6 percent in October).
Moscow closed the top five: secondary housing there grew by four percent in a month, up to 275.7 thousand rubles per square meter, experts calculated.
The smallest growth in the cost of secondary apartments was recorded in St. Petersburg and Volgograd – plus 1.97 and 1.64 percent, respectively. On average, in the 20 largest cities in Russia, the cost of a finished square meter increased by almost four percent, to 84.9 thousand rubles.
Earlier it became known that the average price of a finished apartment in Russia approached the psychological mark of five million rubles, amounting to 4.98 million in October. The volume of supply in the secondary market decreased by one third over the year due to increased demand.
