In the last few days we are witnessing a real one soaring fuel prices. A trend that had been worsening for some time, and that was dramatically accentuated by the Russian invasion to the detriment of Ukraine: according to the latest findings of the MISE, gasoline reached an average of 2.048 euros / liter in self-service mode and 2,154 served, while diesel is supplied at 1,966 euros / liter per self and 2,074 served. It’s not much better for LPG and CNGwith prices ranging from 0.863 to 0.883 euros / liter and between 1.901 and 2.077 euros / kg respectively.
Roberto Cingolani, the Minister of Ecological Transition, however, has raised an alarm linked to scams. “We are witnessing a unjustified increase in fuel pricesthere is no technical reason for these increases – explained the minister to Sky TG24 microphones – Growth is not correlated to the reality of the facts, it is a speculative spiral, on which few gain ”. Cingolani does not turn the word and defines each situation of this type as one colossal fraud at the expense of businesses and citizens. “Energy prices are growing in an absolutely disjointed manner from the reality of the facts – he concluded – If we put a ceiling on prices, we stop this speculative spiral. We are in the presence of a colossal scam that comes from the nervousness of the market and is done at the expense of businesses and citizens ”.
