The 2022 season of the brand new Italian Absolute Rally Championship began with the PS1 of the Il Ciocco E Valle Del Serchio Rally, won by the duo Andrea Crugnola / Pietro Ometto on the paved roads of Tuscany.
The couple of FPF Sport, who returned to Citroën after a period in Hyundai, achieved the best time at the end of the 2.39km of the “Sassorosso”, winning the 3 points required by the regulations for this first ‘effort’ of the weekend.

Top5 for the Škoda of Fabio Andolfi / Manuel Fenoli (MS Munaretto), which precede those of Tommaso Ciuffi / Nicolò Gonella (PARacing) and Damiano De Tommaso / Giorgia Ascalone (CR Motorsport-Meteco Corse).
The eighth place goes to Antonio Rusce / Giulia Paganoni at the wheel of Movisport’s Hyundai, keeping behind the Škodas driven by Gianluca Tosi / Alessandro Del Barba (Movisport-Gima Autosport) and Giacomo Scattolon / Giovanni Bernacchini (Movisport-Erreffe), which complete the Top10.
Close to this there are two other Fabia engaged in the main class of Rally2, namely those of Alessio Profeta / Sergio Raccuia (RO Racing) and Christopher Lucchesi / Titti Ghilardi (HP Sport-GR Racing), respectively 3 “8 and 7” away. 9 from the summit.
Now the competitors will face two more tests, the “Puglianella” (8.44 km) at 5:54 pm and the “Careggine 1” (19.90 km) at 6:18 pm.
