Two Star Games announced that his horror game Choo-Choo Charles will be launched on December 9 on PC. The title gained some notoriety last year for its original proposition, which allowed us to explore an open map while traveling by train … chased by a huge spider-legged locomotive.
The mission is to eliminate this monster that comes from an unknown place and feeds on human flesh. We and our yellow train, with map and machine gun, will arm ourselves with courage to explore the area and advance through the network of tracks. However, as we complete missions or gather materials to improve the vehicle’s stamina, speed or damage, we will also meet Charles. We can improve the arsenal and hopefully prepare to face the great and fearsome enemy.
It is possible to get off the train, talk to the inhabitants of the area and get missions that reward us with materials to improve the train and weapons. But setting foot on the ground leaves us sold, not only against the monster, but also against the enemy cult that wants to feed us to the horrible train. For the “faithful readers” of Stephen KingChoo-Choo Charles is in fact inspired by the horrible train that appeared within the saga of Black Towerwho later became the protagonist of a children’s book.
Choo-Choo Charles is currently only announced for PC, although Two Star Games has been open to adapting it to consoles. It will depend on the success achieved on Steam and the interest of the community.
