The first gold medal of the Tokyo (Japan) Olympics came out this Friday (23) at the Asaka Shooting Range, and it went to China, thanks to Qian Yang’s victory in the carbine event at 10 meters (m) from shooting Sports.

And winning gold had a special taste for Qian Yang, who, with 251.8 points, broke the Olympic record for the competition. The podium was completed by Anastasiia Galashina, from the Russian Olympic Committee, who reached 251.1 points, and by Nina Christen, from Switzerland, with 230, 6 points.
