As an attempt at censorship, the new proposal of the Chinese government that will require anyone who wants to become an influencer to have a professional degree that supports their knowledge about the topics you want to discuss.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Administration of Radio and Television of China explained that the measure seeks to purge the social networks and it is aimed at those who stream through the Tencent or Alibaba platforms.

Now, anyone in China who wants to make comments or recommendations on highly professional topics – such as legal or medical, among others – will have to show that they have professional studies supported by a university degree.
