Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi affirmed his country’s readiness to cooperate with the world’s major powers to contribute to solving the Ukraine crisis.
At a press conference in Beijing on Monday, he stressed the need to preserve the safety of civilians in Ukraine, and to secure the exit of foreigners from the country.
The Chinese minister stressed the strength of relations with Russia, and said: “Relations with Russia are strong regardless of global challenges…and we have a permanent commitment
to strengthen cooperation with them.
