Today, Saturday, the National Health Commission in China announced the registration of 107 new infections with the Coronavirus on January 22, up from 103 the previous day.
The commission stated in a statement that 90 of the new infections are local infections. The number of asymptomatic cases, which China does not consider as confirmed, decreased to 99, from 119 the previous day.
The total confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the Chinese mainland now stands at 88,911, while the total deaths remained unchanged at 4,635.
