China disagrees with Russia’s exclusion from G20 summit

THE China spoke out this Wednesday (23) against the exclusion of Russia of the next meeting of G20 summit. The proposal was suggested by Jake Sullivan, Security Advisor to US President Joe Bidenas a reprisal for the invasion of Ukraine.

“Russia is an important country and no member has the right to expel another country,” he told reporters. Chinese diplomacy spokesperson Wang Wenbin. In almost a month of conflict, China, which is close to the Kremlin, has not taken a stand against the War in Ukraine.

The summit meeting is scheduled for November, in Indonesia. The Russian ambassador in the country, Lyudmila Vorobieva, informed that the presence of Vladimir Putin is confirmed for the event. “Many organizations are trying to expel Russia and the reaction from the West is absolutely disproportionate,” she said.
