Diego Damis41 years old, Italian originally from Assisi, in the US since 2015, he was robbed and stabbed to Chicago, on his way home after a day’s work. The attack took place last Friday, February 25, near Hyde Park, where he worked as a bartender at the Cove Lounge.

Diego had been living in the city since 2015, when he had decided to move from Bagnaia, a small hamlet a few kilometers from Perugia.
“A person with whom it was very nice to talk and discuss. We had bonded and in 2015 he told me that he had decided to go overseas to join his South American mother who lived in Chicago, to have an experience abroad. She was very happy in the city, ”a friend told Ansa.
