Chhath Puja 2020: The four-day ritual of Chhath Puja, the Mahaparava of faith, was concluded today with the offering of Arghya to the rising sun. The Vratis celebrating Chhath Puja prayed hard to keep their grace from the sun after a 36-hour nirjala fast. Before this, on the evening of 20 November, Vratis offered Arghya to Asthachalagami Sun. The devotees prayed for the early rising of the Sun God overnight.
Today is sunrise at 6:11 am in Patna, Bihar. In Delhi, the sun will rise at 6:49 am on Saturday. In UP, Bihar and Jharkhand, including Delhi-NCR, people were seen waiting for the sun to rise. The devotees are worshiping with full devotion with their family. In many areas the sun does not appear on time due to clouds or fog, then people also worship according to the sunrise time.
