The Italian market is ready to welcome a new contender. This is the Chinese brand Chery which has officially announced the entry of the Bel Paese on the market with its models. The Wuhu carmaker has in fact presented an expansion program that it foresees the arrival also on our market, with a sales network and a dedicated range. Chery is one of the most active Asian brands, with exports growing for over 19 years and a total of 2 million cars sold outside China.
“We have been leading exports of internal combustion vehicles for many years and the same goes for new energy vehicles”he has declared Mr. Zhu ShaoDong, Deputy General Manager of Chery International. Now the debut in Europe is being prepared which will strengthen the international presence that sees the brand already active in 80 countries around the world, producing and registering more than 10 million vehicles. Italy will be the gateway to the Old Continent, followed by Spain. Chery intends to create a solid sales and service network in our country, convinced that to be successful in Italy she must adopt a strategy in which everything revolves around the user.
Chery will initially debut in Europe with the OMODA electric vehicle, a model with which the company will inaugurate a new phase of its business: a phase focused on the globalization of electric and low environmental impact cars. Chery has chosen Italy as a strategic market to accelerate the brand’s globalization process and to fully enter the European market.
