BRASILIA (Reuters) – The Chamber of Deputies began this Wednesday night the discussion in plenary of the bill that changes the rules of the Income Tax, part of the set of infra-constitutional measures in progress at the House that integrate the tax reform.
The proposal had been facing resistance and was withdrawn from the agenda on August 17th. Before delving into the content itself of the matter, however, deputies will analyze the requests, one of them asking for a new withdrawal from the agenda, but it must be rejected, as even opposition leaders have expressed support for the project.
Parliamentarians from parties such as PT, PSOL, and PCdoB stated that the rapporteur of the proposal, Celso Sabino (PSDB-PA), accepted opposition demands in a new text.
