The second season consisted of eight grands prix, the last two of which were driven this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, where Formula 1 is also based. Chadwick was victorious in both races. Before the closing Grands Prix in Texas, the British shared the lead in the World Cup standings with her compatriot Alice Powell, who had won the sixth race of the season at Zandvoort in early September.
Beitske Visser finished eighth in the championship with 38 points, securing her entry into the third season of the W Series. The 26-year-old Flevoland finished second behind Chadwick in the first edition.
