Cemex is recognized as the best company in the construction sector

cemex was recognized by the Business Monitor of Corporate Reputation (Merco) as the best company in the construction materials sector to attract and retain collaborators, and the most outstanding Nuevo León company in the general ranking obtained from the 2024 Merco Talento survey.

Methodology

Every year, Merco carries out a classification of 200 companies to determine, in different sectors, which are the most attractive companies and brands to attract talent and build loyalty in Mexico.

For itMerco Talent It collected the impressions of more than 27 thousand employees from different companies, more than 1,500 citizens in general, 1,200 university and postgraduate students, professors, unions and human resources managers.

Assessment

Among the aspects that evaluate Merco There is the correspondence of the salary with the activity carried out, professional development, motivation and recognition, the internal reputation of the brands, their attractiveness to work and their ethical and professional values, among others.

Merco evaluates the most important companies in Latin America and is considered a reference in the analysis of private initiative practices in countries such as Mexico, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, among others.

From a universe of 200 listed companies, cemex was placed 14th overall and established itself as a leader in its sector of seven construction companies.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of the West (UAdeO), with an area of ​​emphasis in mass media. I currently have six years of experience in news media, web portals, content development for social networks, radio, live television, and local and state printed newspapers. I joined the printed newspaper Vivavoz as a reporter for Locales in 2015, in the municipality of Culiacán, subsequently I wrote different news and investigative content for the state weekly NN Noticias Sinaloa, for a period of three years, followed by my entry into the newscast live television from Vivavoz, as well as collaborating with informative notes for the radio edition of the same company, which is broadcast daily. Likewise, I have managed the websites of each of the media in which I have worked, and I am currently a reporter for the Local section of the newspaper EL DEBATE DE CULIACÁN, where I joined during 2019.
