Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai, Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, in the presence of the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, witnessed the activities celebrating the 68th anniversary of the founding of Dubai Police, which falls on June 1, 1956, at the Officers Club, in the presence of a number of leaders. The celebration was titled “A Touch of Loyalty… to the People of Giving,” and Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim and Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri received a souvenir of a “Qanun” stick, made from the Ghaf tree, from the Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi.
Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, honored the first generation of accomplished retired commanders in the Dubai Police, namely: Major General Saeed Mohammed Al Kamda, Major General Nasser Al Sayed Abdul Razzaq Al Razouqi, Major General Sharaf Al Din Al Sayed Muhammad Hussein, Major General Abdulaziz Muhammad Al Bannai, and Major General Ismail Al Gergawi. Major General Juma Aman Obaid Aman, Major General Juma Obaid Al Sayegh, Major General Khalfan Al Muhairi, and Major General Muhammad Eid Al Mansouri.
Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim praised the honored leaders, who had an important historical imprint on the path of the Dubai Police General Command, and contributed to the Dubai Police reaching the progress and development it has reached today in various fields, through their diligent work in all police sectors, stressing They were an example to be followed in serving the nation and working to establish an advanced police system in various fields, and they are a source of pride and appreciation for everyone who worked with them and lived through their professional lives.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri gave a speech during the ceremony, in which he said: “We meet on this day to celebrate 68 years since the establishment of the Dubai Police General Command, which falls on June 1, 1956, when a procession of giving began, and a journey of excellence, will, and determination.
