Guadalajara Jalisco.- Given the announcement by the state government to implement a strategy to remove the Firearmsthe Jalisco State Human Rights Commission (CEDHJ) yesterday urged the authorities to respect human rights of the people and the Constitution.
He also had to request information about it, because until then he was unaware of the agreement and the protocols under which the inspections, which will be done starting today.
“The work carried out by the security forces and all those responsible for enforcing the law must be imbued with profound respect for human rights and fundamentally guarantee the principles of legality and the presumption of innocence,” said the agency’s fourth inspector general, Xavier Perlasca.
On Wednesday, Governor Enrique Alfaro unveiled the strategy under the name “Module Seguro”, although he did not give details.
“There must be a ‘reasonable suspicion’ (for inspection)that is, that there are clear indications of concealment, of instruments, of objects, of products related to the fact that is being investigated or that is being denounced at that moment,” said UdeG professor Marco Antonio Rico.

In previous years, the CEDHJ was one of the first instances to rule on this type of plan when considering the violations they could cause.
