2-year deal keeps broadcaster as exclusive English-language broadcaster, including Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana
A CBS Sports and Serie A (1st division of the Italian championship) announced on Friday (19.Jul.2024) the renewal of a 2-year agreement. The broadcaster will continue to hold the exclusive English-language broadcast rights in the United States for all Serie A matches. Series ACoppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana. Financial details of the renewal were not disclosed.
According to information from The Athleticthe contract, which has the potential to be extended, was reached for a lower fee than the previous deal, which was estimated to be between $60 million and $70 million. Paramount+ plans to broadcast more than 400 matches per season, including all 380 Serie A matches, at least 25 of the Coppa Italia and all of the Supercoppa Italiana.
CBS Sports and Lega Serie A have renewed their media rights in the US in a multi-year agreement.

The agreement provides for the broadcast of the largest number of Serie A matches on American free-to-air television, including on the network CBSat CBS Sports Network and on CBS Sports Golazo Network. Serie A features players from the United States national team, such as Christian Pulisic, Yunus Musah and Timothy Weah.
In addition to the Italian league, CBS Sports has also signed a 4-year deal to broadcast the English Football League and Carabao Cup, previously broadcast by ESPN.
