A driver has been caught driving a high-end vehicle at 254 kilometers per hour on the A-5, near the municipality of Guareña, in Badajoz. The events took place last Thursday, when a device established by the Traffic Group of the Mérida detachment ‘hunted’ the driver.
The agents captured and photographed with the cinemometer to tourism, which exceeded by more than double the speed allowed on the road, 120 kilometers per hour, according to reports The Extremadura Newspaper.
The Benémerita agents proceeded to intercept the driver, who was being investigated for alleged crime against road safety. As a consequence, he could face sentences of between three and six months in prison, as well as deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for between one and four years.
