What if Bloodborne was an animated series in Cartoon Network style? A fan made a video that shows souls-like dark fantasy in a new guise, and it’s beautiful. Many current gamers have grown up on bread and cartoons, which peaked in the 1990s and 2000s.
The trailer made by the artist Anthony Berardo, and uploaded to his YouTube channel AJBTime, is therefore even more appreciable. Although it only lasts 26 seconds about, the movie that shows Bloodborne in the cartoon version it looks like a work ready to be broadcast on the screens, and not a fan made product.
First it is astounding how the atmosphere and the style of the game they fit perfectly into a Cartoon Network. All the personages and boss more fearsome and gruesome, known and loved by those who lived the famous saga, they look fantastic in the trailer, which seems to be dedicated to a series apparently for children, but in reality aimed at their parents, and adults in general.
The quality is top notch, and it shows viewers what it would look like Bloodborne in a hitherto unknown capacity. As you can read from the description at the bottom of the video, Anthony Berardo was inspired by the works of Gennadiy Borisovich Tartakovsky, like Dexter’s Laboratory or Samurai Jack.
The trailer is set in Yarnham, scenario of the videogame Bloodborne. In the first few sequences, the townspeople are armed with torches and an ax, some blindfolded and bleeding. In the following seconds, enemies, other characters and bosses, such as Amelia, appear. Maria, a DLC boss, is also shown The Old Hunters.
The clip attracted the attention of many users, and on Twitter it received tens of thousands of likes and shares. This hints at the potential success that could follow a Cartoon Network-style animated series of Bloodborne, well done like the work of Anthony Berardo.
Recently the producer of the franchise joined Team Ninja, the software house of the famous Nioh. This fact prompted many fans to imagine a new project set in Yarnham. Bloodborne was released in 2015, developed by the same software house that gave life to Dark Souls.
The Cartoon Network-style trailer isn’t the first work fans make in honor of the game. In fact, a video was recently created showing the DLC bosses of Bloodborne And Dark Souls 3 collide, to see who would come out winner.
