Carrera Cup Italy | Misano: penalty-Pastorelli, the Michelin Cup goes to Fenici!

While the finishing order is confirmed with Masters, Ten Voorde and Zendeli ahead of everyone in the overall race 2 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia in Misano, the twist comes from the Michelin Cup.

Already the winner of race 1 and first at the finish line today, Luca Pastorelli was however penalized after the race, relegating him to third place in the category ranking, which has a new winner, Francesco Fenici, in first place in 2024 and with Raptor Engineering, and a new “silver medalist”, Alberto De Amicis, who further improves a podium result achieved with Ebimotors after a good comeback from the back.

The Modena standard-bearer of Dinamic Motorsport, however, was relegated to third position (still a podium finish), paying a 5-second penalty imposed by the stewards as a result of an irregular maneuver at the Curva del Tramonto towards Fenici himself, who at the end was attacking the leadership (and De Amicis also narrowly missed out).
