The charismatic French singer returns to the stage with a new album in which he pays homage to his French and African roots. Also in this programme, the photographic and scientific project ‘1 Ocean’ to explore the oceans and the latest documentary by Chilean director Patricio Guzmán, ‘My Imaginary Country’.
Exploring the depths and wonders of the oceans is the ambitious goal of the ‘1 Ocean’ project, led by French photographer and diver Alexis Rosenfeld. It is a mission that will extend over 10 years, with the support of UNESCO, which seeks to explore and document life in the oceans to preserve this vulnerable ecosystem.
“We are going to travel around the world to tell stories and thus explain how important explorations are for science. Because it is through science that we will be able to protect these exceptional places”, explained Rosenfeld to Carrusel de las Artes.
‘My imaginary country’ by Patricio Guzmán
The veteran Chilean film director premieres his latest documentary in France. ‘My imaginary country’ accompanied the masses during the 2019 social outbreak in Chile. Guzmán analyzes the reasons for this explosion in the streets, the social debt, the role of women in the Chilean dynamic, as well as the police violence that at that time caused an epidemic of eye injuries.
‘Le Monde d’après’ and ‘Close’ at the movie premieres
In the vast range of new films coming out in French cinemas, we highlight the first post-Covid French comedy, ‘The World After’, by Laurent Firode.
