Junior lost another key player for the upcoming League dates: Venezuelan Luis 'Cariaco' González had to be replaced in the match against Atlético Nacional, on Saturday, in a duel that ended in a goalless draw.
After a push from Edwin Torres, 'Cariaco' suffered a fall that caused a fracture in his right clavicle.
The Venezuelan had undergone surgery very early on Sunday to correct the fracture, but now the player had to go to the operating room again.
The Diario Deportes portal reported that doctors found that one of the bones had pierced a lung, which forced a new emergency intervention.
Now, we will have to wait for 'Cariaco''s disability time. With the initial fracture, it was going to be six weeks.
González arrived in Colombia for Deportes Tolima in 2018 and that year he became champion of the League, in the first semester. He arrived at Junior in 2019 and has played 193 official matches, with 38 goals scored and 18 assists.
With Junior, 'Cariaco' has won two Leagues, a Colombia Cup and a Super League.
