The confession of Carlo Fumagalli
Carlo Fumagalli was in psychiatric care from a specialist who had prescribed psychiatric drugs for him. Medicines that, however, he had stopped taking for a few weeks.

The intention, he confessed, was precisely to kill his now ex-partner, taking into account that he was aware of the fact that she couldn’t swim.
Nonetheless, Romina Vento had managed to wriggle out from the submerged car, to open the door and to return to the surface.
Seeing this, Carlo swam over to her and did it held underwater with his own handsuntil the woman lost consciousness.
Subsequently it is moved away swimming on a nearby islet, where it was later found e arrested a few hours later.
From the prison where he was locked up soon after, he was then transported to thehospital Bergamo, because on Wednesday evening he showed instincts and will to take his own life.
