Stellantis, car production collapses in Italy

The growth in volumes compared to 2023 was mainly driven by the increase in production of the Panda, which reached 44,000 units compared to 30,300 the previous year (+45%). This increase offset the decline recorded in the production of the Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet SUVs, which went from 16,400 units in 2023 to 14,830 units (-9.5%).
“If the data are confirmed, production in 2024 will be just over 630 thousand units, below the 751 thousand in 2023,” he commented Ferdinando Ulianosecretary of the union Fim-Cisl. “The goal of one million is moving away vehicles”.
