On July 29, actress Candace Cameron apologized, through her Instagram stories, after being criticized for a TikTok video that many of her fans consider was ‘seductive’ and inappropriate for using the Bible.
In the video, the protagonist of Full house Y Fuller house lip sync to the song “Jealous girl” scored by Lana Del Rey.
“Baby, I’m a gangsta too / And it takes two to tango / You don’t want to dance with me, dance with me”, he says, holding the Bible in his hand and says: “When they don’t know the power of the Holy Spirit ”.
In her apology, Candace Cameron said she was inspired by a similar video her daughter made, Natasha bure, 22 years old. He pointed out that his intention was to convey that “nothing can defeat the Holy Spirit.”
“I got home and read a lot of messages that were not happy with my last Instagram post which was a TikTok video. I don’t normally apologize for these things, but many of you thought it was weird and I’m sorry. That was not my intention ”, expressed the artist.
Noting that he deleted the video on Instagram, he indicated that his intention was not to appear sensual. “Many of you thought I was trying to be seductive, which clearly means I’m not a very good actress because I was trying to be strong, not sexy or seductive,” she said. “So I guess it didn’t work, but I deleted it.”
