Culiacán.- The National Meteorological System (SMN), of the National Water Commission (Conagua), reported that very heavy rains are forecast at very strong points with possible hailstorms for Sinaloa during the afternoon of this Sunday and early Monday.
According to official information from Conagua, the rainy weather will extend to the states of Sonora, Chihuahua and Durango. While showers are expected on the Baja California peninsula
The rainy weather will last from 2:00 p.m. this Sunday until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22 of the current year.
Weather forecast for the north and northeast of Mexico:
- Heavy rains with very strong punctuals (50 to 75 mm): Chihuahua and Coahuila
- Intervals of showers with strong punctual rains (25 to 50 mm): Sonora and Sinaloa.
- Intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm): Baja California Sur, Baja California, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
- Wind with gusts of 50 to 60 km/h: Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas
- Maximum temperatures from 40 to 45 °C: Baja California.
- Maximum temperatures from 35 to 40 °C: Sonora, Durango, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas,
- Maximum temperatures from 30 to 35 °C: Baja California Sur and Sinaloa.
