The Canadian Women’s National Team continues and continues to write history and today it has already established itself as one of the great powers of world women’s soccer. Further proof of this is the result obtained against Germany in their last match of the Arnold Clark Cup.
To recap a bit, the Arnold Clark Cup is the first edition of a tournament organized by England and in which. Four world powers participate simulating the format of the tournament’s American counterpart, the SheBelieves Cup.
For the inaugural edition, England, the host, invited the selection of Spain, Germany and Canada to compete in the tournament where the four guests will face each other in a single game.

However, a historic result was obtained for Canada this Sunday, February 20, on the second date of the tournament that crossed them against the powerful German team that came from a one-goal draw with the Spanish team on the first date.
The nets moved for the only time starting the game when Vanessa Gilles scored for the Canadians and so, the minutes went by, the first half ended, the game continued its course for the second half and as the clock progressed, a result was consummated historic for Canada.
The game ends and Canada takes a gigantic victory against Germany. Thus obtaining his first victory without conceding a goal against the German team that was overtaken by Canada.
It should be noted that this Canadian team has very young soccer players on its squad and that, on the other hand, it could not count on its greatest figure, Christine Sinclair due to the sensitive loss of her mother.
