Starting this Thursday, July 1, the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry (Canacintra) in the entity will carry out a cycle of free webinars on measurement issues in order to bet on economic reactivation and reduce energy consumption expenses in industries, which can mean between 20 and 40 percent of the permanent inputs for its operation.
In total they will be 11 one-hour sessions that will be held every Thursday at 10 a.m., where various issues will be addressed to promote the reduction in the billing of energy such as diesel, LP gas, fuels, in addition to presenting solutions for regulatory compliance, optimization in capital investments that industries must make and current regulations.
According to Imelda Meza Parrilla, president of Canacintra, a series of actions have been registered since the pandemic to reduce the operating expenses of the industries and in this case this model is mainly focused on sectors such as the chemical, pharmaceutical, handling and manufacturing of plastics, food, as well as check centers and inexpensive units with high energy use.
“It is a program that offers benefits and will allow acquiring comprehensive knowledge for regulatory compliance and support before regulatory authorities, in addition to identifying optimization opportunities in equipment investment, availability of information for the operational cost-benefit analysis and considering investment in infrastructure in compliance with current regulations ”.
The content and training -detailed- will be in charge of specialized researchers from the Center for Advanced Technology (Ciateq) and will be awarded to companies free of charge.
Gas measurement and review systems
Emilio Munguía, director of the Ciateq Estado de México, explained that among the topics they will address are the technical aspects observed during a measurement system verification such as the review of the properties of gases at transfer points and their verification.
As well as the introduction to the requirements of an environmental management system and measurement equipment, assessment of the calibration certificates, their metrology, relevant aspects in matters of fiscal miscellany, even the technologies used in the transport of hydrocarbons and petroleum products.
Finally, he said that the main participants of the webinar cycle will be the maintenance and energy managers, as well as directors or managers of operations.
