The Colombian tennis player Camila Osorio is experiencing bittersweet sensations this Monday. After her defeat on Sunday night, in the final of the Monterrey Open, after having five championship points, the great incentive of the Cucuteña is that she woke up in her best place in the WTA ranking: position 35.
Aware that the road is just beginning, Osorio shared his balance of the tour of Guadalajara and Monterrey. Everything, a few days after his debut in Indian Wells.
The words of Camila Osorio

Regarding the unique moment that marked the end of the match on Sunday, against the Canadian Leylah Fernández, in which the match was suspended due to the failure of some spotlights on the field, Osorio said: “Yesterday’s blackout was very strange, I don’t know what it was, but it’s over”.
“I’m happy to have advanced a little more in the ranking and we have to keep improving”added the Colombian, new number 35 in the world.
“Thank you for the support, because in recent weeks I have felt great support, and thank you for suffering with me, although I have fun,” he concluded with a laugh.
This week, starting on Friday or Saturday, Osorio will be active in the ‘Masters’ 1000 in Indian Wells. There is still no confirmed date, time or rival.
