The City Council will install a new 102-meter sewer branch to improve service
The councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Street Cleaning, Carmen Fructuoso, and the general director of Aguas de Murcia, Inmaculada Serrano, visited the works that are being carried out in the district of Casillas to install a new sanitation network for homes located in a section of the North street of the town.
The new collector will transfer the wastewater to the existing sanitation network on Avenida de Alicante for its channeling to its place of treatment and purification.
Specifically, a new 102-meter sewer branch and three manholes will be installed. The works also include the replacement of two irrigation brazales crossings, as reported on Saturday by the Murcia City Council in a press release. The Murcia City Council added that this action, whose planned investment amounts to a total amount of 58,520 euros, is being carried out to comply with the current legislation on discharge and wastewater treatment.
The project of the works in progress foresees to replace two crossings of irrigation brazales
The Councilor for Sustainable Mobility and Street Cleaning, Carmen Fructuoso, added that “with these works we continue to provide the districts with the necessary supply and sanitation infrastructures, thus responding to the historical demands of the residents.”
