Since its launch last year, Call of Duty: Warzone has been a victim of all kinds of hackers. Recently, Activision incorporated a new anti-cheat system known as Ricochet, which helps to identify cheaters more easily and quickly. Well, this system has received an improvement that complicates the lives of all those who decide to use hacks within the battle royale.
as reported NYSL Mavriq on Twitterwhen Ricochet identifies a hacker, their targets not only become immune to their shots, but are now also invincible, as you can see in the clip below.
Looks like other than adjusting bullet damage (damage shielding) from cheaters, legit players will go “invisible” when shot by flagged cheaters.
Dunno how it exactly works (what triggers, effects on other players, etc). We’ll probably see more clips in the coming days. https://t.co/BuZkGicQe4 pic.twitter.com/MZTwkDDgPd

Not only will this make life more difficult for hackers, but it will also allow Activision and Ricochet can suspend more of them more efficiently. We hope that this change does bring positive results to war zone.
Publisher’s note: It’s a shame that Warzone has been ruined by so many hackers and cheaters. The game is genuinely fun, but the experience is currently not the best, in addition to all the other technical problems that came after the implementation of the new map, Caldera.
