Treyarch is working on more things, including a Call of Duty F2P slated for 2023.
A Twitter user appears to have information regarding the next steps of Treyarchthe developers of the Call of Duty Black Opsor it appears to be making very realistic predictions.
The leak according to which in the 2023 no main Call of Duty will be released, an announcement that pleased many fans, does not rule out that there may be titles free-to-play during the year. Hope (the alleged leaker) specifies that “Treyarch is currently working on a F2P game for 2023, Vanguard’s zombie mode, ranked matches for Vanguard, Modern Warfare II to a small extent and the new chapter scheduled for 2024 … “

The free to play scheduled for 2023 will therefore act as a “stopgap”, and would confirm the rumor spread by Jason Schreier about the same issue. In addition, two free-to-play titles are still planned: Warzone 2 and a mobile chapter.
