Fans of modern warfare are in luck, since this year’s installment of the war saga will be a sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019. The game was a great return to the origins of the franchise, under a careful review of the concepts that made it great. This new installment does not plan to be left behind, forming part of the “most ambitious plan in the history of the franchise.”
Activision has confirmed that both this new game and a new Call of Duty: Warzone experience are developed together right from the start. “Expect a massive evolution of Battle Royale with a completely new game space and a new sandbox mode,” promises the company. This ambitious project will be built from the ground up, with a new engine for both Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2022 and Warzone.
