In the last few, some new rumors have been disclosed concerning the new chapter of the saga of call of Duty due out in 2022. The sequel in question, yet another of the famous Activision shooter series, should be a follow-up to the recent Modern Warfare.
These rumors come from famous leaker Tom Henderson, which has repeatedly anticipated some events related to the brand call of Duty and recently released news about the beta of Battlefield 2042.
Henderson, already a few weeks ago, had revealed that the next chapter in the saga of call of Duty it had the machining code name Project Courtz, revealing that it would be a direct sequel to Call of Duty Modern Warfare released in 2019 for PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC, which is considered one of the most popular chapters of the saga.
Tom Henderson has recently returned to the subject, revealing that the new chapter of the saga will be titled Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.
I can confirm that the 2022 title is called “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II”
And the art work looks fucking amazing. pic.twitter.com/PWw5CRIpr1

I can confirm that the title of the game due out in 2022 will be “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II”. And the art work looks truly amazing.
In a later Tweet, however, Henderson tweaked the shot slightly by specifying that this is a working title and that it could change in the coming weeks:
“Confirm” was a wrong choice of wording here – I can confirm that I’ve seen artwork that says “Modern Warfare II” – But this does not necessarily confirm the title is 100% Modern Warfare II as names can change during development.
I might sketch the image in the future though.

“Confirm” was a misused word. I can confirm that I have seen an art work showing the title “Modern Warfare II”. However, this does not necessarily confirm that the title will be 100% Modern Warfare II as the names may change during development.
Until a few weeks ago it seemed like Activision was busy with the Modern Warfare in another way. Some, in fact, hypothesized the arrival of a remastered dedicated to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 which, however, in the light of these new rumors by Tom Henderson, could be an increasingly less probable hypothesis.
Obviously, it should be specified that those mentioned so far are only indiscretions not supported by official sources, and therefore we invite you to take what you read with a grain of salt.
While waiting to discover new details on the new chapter of the famous Activision saga, players are already preparing for the arrival of Call of Duty Vanguard, a title developed by Sledgehammer Games which is scheduled to launch on November 5, 2021. The title will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
