BYD and Uber sign mobility pact. The Chinese brand and the chauffeur-driven transport company have signed an agreement that provides for the entry 100,000 new vehicles of the Asian brand on the Uber platform, starting with Europe and Latin America. In particular, the partnership will make BYD cars available to the drivers of the mobility company with a discounted price and will allow access to financing for the purchase of vehicles. The partnership will then extend to the Middle East, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

BYD and Uber will also collaborate on future BYD self-driving vehicles to be distributed on the Uber platform. Uber, the world’s largest on-demand mobility and delivery platform, is uniquely positioned to bring self-driving vehicle technology to a global audience. “Uber and BYD share a commitment to innovate for a cleaner and greener world.
