The oldest curved part of the Children’s Castle Hospital with its towers was completed in 1948. It was designed by the architects Elsi Borg, Otto Flodin and Olavi Sortta.
Renew office and residential buildings can be placed on the site of the extension parts completed in 1959 located along Stenbäckinkatu and Linnankoskenkatu.
Apartments could be created for about 150 people. Building rights in the block are not growing at all.
The city environmental committee will discuss the block’s change on Tuesday.
