Saving for a new screen? To help you navigate the dozens of seemingly identical TV models from Samsung, LG, Vizio, TCL, Sony and other manufacturers, we’ve watched hundreds of hours of content on them to pick out some of our favorites. We list everything from the best TV to the best deal set you can buy, and also some great options in between. And nothing better than getting it this Buen Fin, the largest sales event in Mexico.
All of these models have 4K Ultra HD pixel resolution (and some have 8K), because there aren’t many reasons to buy a standard HDTV anymore. Models now come with wonderful screens, but they are terrible at audio and can have mediocre interfaces, so you should also invest in a good soundbar and a streaming stick TV if you can’t find the app you want.

The best for most
Hisense U7N QLED
With brilliant brightness, excellent black levels, and voluminous quantum dot colors, Hisense’s U7N (8/10, WIRED rating) looks better than any other display at this price has any right to look. The 65-inch model we tested costs $1,000, but is usually on sale for between $750 and $800, or for $600 for the 55-inch. Although the budget is high, this television is worth it, and that is why it is our favorite.
In addition to its powerful picture performance, the U7N offers great gaming features such as VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), a dedicated game bar, and support for 4K gaming up to 144Hz. Others Attractive features are its intuitive Google TV smart interface and surprising extras such as an adjustable audio output that allows you to use the television remote control to control the volume of older sound bars and receivers. It still shows some flaws, such as lackluster off-axis performance and minor screen uniformity issues, but for most viewers, especially those new to the world of 4K HDR, this display is bound to delight.
