The Brussels Motor Show will not take place in 2022. The organizers of the event have in fact announced the cancellation of next year’s edition of the Belgian event: the worsening of the situation linked to the spread of Coronavirus in Belgium, with the consequent announcement of stricter restrictions within local borders, was the main cause of this decision. Everything suggests that the event will be rescheduled to January 2023, when the Brussels Motor Show will celebrate its first 100 years of history.
“We expect the worsening of the health situation and the planned introduction of new stricter restrictions will not allow us to accommodate the expected number of visitors in optimal conditions – said Andreas Cremer of FEBIAC, the Belgian Federation of Bicycles and Cars – The reorganization of the show will be aimed at celebrating the 100th anniversary of the event “. Precisely in this sense, a further announcement is expected in the next few weeks: it has already been confirmed that the event will be supported by the launch of a new digital platform to answer questions from riders and motorcyclists. We remind you that the next edition of the Brussels Motor Show (held every two years) was scheduled for 15 to 23 January 2022: none of this will be staged, we will rethink it in 2023.
